Oh my god....
Stop coming up with these clients please.
I've collected enough of them! But of course can't resist to
snatch this one as well.

BTW, screenshots and a feature list would be helpful in "selling" the client, and they'd take only a few minutes to put up. A list of platforms supported would also be good, since I'm on a weird environment and can't tell if it'll even run.

Generally, I'm hesitant to install software from unknown vendors which I probably don't need, especially when I don't know what it does, if it's better than what I have, if it looks halfway decent, or if it'll even work... that's all a pretty big barrier for me.

Just some friendly advice.

Good luck with your project!,
-Jess

I didn't really try hard, but your program is not very newbie friendly. I'm under Windows XP and it just won't unzip if I double click it.

It's a .jar file.... There is nothing to uncompress or unzip, it's an executable file. It's very newbie friendly, you just seemingly aren't computer literate. I downloaded it, I double clicked, the program ran, that simple. If it doesn't work for you it's because you do not have the proper version of Java installed.

As for the program itself, I click file->Hosts and try listing a new MUD but when finished and click Okay. nothing shows in the list.

Adding new MUDs worked on the second try, had to close and re-run the program though for them to start saving, likely the initial run doesn't fully form the host list till it is closed.

In this case, wouldn't a newbie be someone who is not computer literate? .jar files are not very common...
