Conflict has torn the galaxy asunder. The Galactic Civil
War rages to this day, leaving devastation in its wake.
Whole planets lie in ruin, reduced to grim mausoleums of 
rock and dust. Entire civilisations erased without a trace. 
The old heroes have fallen. To many, peace is but a quaint
myth, a pleasant daydream.

From the ashes rise new warriors to carry on the legacy, 
bringing with them new hopes, dreams and grudges, new 
trials and challenges to face and overcome.

Some choose to take up cause with the New Republic, 
champions of democracy and freedom. Others, the ruthless 
Empire, struggling to maintain order in the absence of
Palpatine. More still eke out a desperate living on the
very edge, among the myriad crimelords and bounty hunters, 
where every day is a constant struggle for survival.

You are one such individual. Whether hero, villain or
something inbetween, you are marked as one capable of 
changing the tide of fate. Dare you persevere and fulfill 
your destiny? Dare you undertake your Trials of Courage?

ToC is a roleplay-heavy Star Wars MUD utilizing the FotE
codebase. We are still in the early stages of development,
but fully intend to add new and original features as we
go along, as well as revamp areas. The MUD features a
