Macross: New Horizon is a roleplay MUSH based upon the anime series Super Dimension Fortress: Macross (a.k.a. Robotech the Macross Saga).
It's been over 50 years since the end of Space War I; the conflict in which humanity finally met extraterrestrial life and was nearly wiped out in the process. Since the end of the war, humans have allied with their once enemies the Zentradi and have struck out on their own, sending dozens of colony missions to the reaches of the Milky Way galaxy in order to keep humanity from ever facing extinction from an alien threat again. They have met numerous other races along the way and now one of these colony missions has found themselves a new home on the mysterious planet Aurorae; a planet that harbors its own secret history. It'll be up to the brave men and women who have chosen to make this planet their home to both unravel the planet's mysteries as well as fend off their own destruction as there are others who have their own designs for Aurorae and its untold riches.
Will you help the inhabitants of the Horizon colony find a way to eke out a living thousands of light years from their home planet, or perhaps will you instead look to profit from their struggles and potential downfall?
The MUSH itself sports an extensive knowledge base, making it accessible to people who are both new to Macross and new to MUSHing.
