So, for what seems like the thousandth time, I've got a few of my old builders back and they, like me, are wanting to get things going again. Right now, we're strictly in a development phase. I'm not in any hurry to open to the public. Its been 4 years of off and on development since we started, I don't see any reason why we should hurry now and risk losing quality content. If you're an experienced builder, or someone wishing to learn how to build, check us out. We're running a modified Dawn 1.69r codebase, with a lot of improvements and additions to make the game more fun for both staff and players. Right now, we have a lot of stock areas, but they are there only for inspiration/learning purposes. I'm looking for people that are interested in building quality areas that will be fun for both newbies and veteran players alike. If you're interested, drop me an email at the address below. Drizzt, I am unsure about which post you are talking about. Is it this one, concerning a stolen codebase? http://forums.slayn.net/index.php?topic=51.0 If that's it, I don't understand. Our MUD has been around only a few years, but the areas are either created by us, or they are the stock areas that came with the Dawn of Time 1.69r codebase. If this is the wrong thread, and I'm still unaware of why we are 'morons', please feel free to enlighten me so I can defend myself, via this thread or an email? I would greatly appreciate it. - PS: If somehow one of the stock areas we currently have on Twist of Fate -is- property of someone else and should not be there, it will be removed. Just tell me which one. (Comment added by evilrick on Fri Jul 18 16:25:25 2008) I am not 'twistofate' on slayn.net, and if there is a MUD out there with that name other than ours, I am unaware of it. Any attempt to clear this up for me would be appreciated.

If you indeed are not the user ShatteredBalance then I apologize and admit to hacing assumed it was due to the name(that was indeed the thread I was referring to). For those too lazy to read the thread in question it was someone claiming their mud codebase had been stolen. In the end it ended up that it hadn't been stolen at all. Even worse was their mention of having bought the MUD from its previous developers. They then got hostile when me and Jindrak pointed out that the DIKU License prohibited the sale of the codebase and as such they had never owned anything and had commited a larger infraction than the person they were trying to accuse of code theft.
