Welcome to the Mists, stranger. Or perhaps native. But you 
might as well make yourself at home; you are never leaving. 
Not alive, anyway. No... there is no break in the wall that 
encloses us in, and what becomes of those who foolishly 
attempt it is just one of the mysteries better left unsolved.
 None of them have returned to tell the tale. 

Yes, well, you look like a sneaky, no-good sort yourself!
 Come to think of it, you might find yourself doing well in
 the Duchy of Cylan, rumored to hold the thieves guild... 
along with many other unsavory things. Those who prefer the
 deep shadows and silence of the forest tend to gravitate 
toward the wooded Duchy of Varia. Butting up against the
 mountains lies the deserts of Galius - search me if I 
could tell you how anyone survives there! And, of course,
 if anyone ever tells you to go jump in the lake, they 
can only mean you simply /must/ go visit Lumire, where 
the Healers Guild makes their home. Downright fishy place 
if you ask me! 

What was that you asked? You need to speak up - Im not 
deaf, but it certainly is noisy in here! No, it is not a 
small kingdom, by any means, but you couldnt have 
imagined a more divided one if you tried, and I dont mean 
simply the lands. Only the mists hold us together, and 
the strength of the ruling family - I shudder to think
 what would happen if either failed! 

How is it divided? By the gods, man, how long have you
 been here? A week? You surely must have heard /something/
 of the nature of this... boiling pot we all inhabit, 
where humans share an uneasy truce with shape shifters,
 deep in their forests, where mages walk the streets 
freely, selling their unique skills, and where all eye 
the few, rare vampires with fear and loathing. Waving 
that sprig of garlic wont keep them away - dont make me 
laugh! 

Dont worry. Keep on the way you are doing, and youll soon 
learn more. Perhaps more then you bargained for, or are
 ready for. Welcome to the Mists of Eirias... and watch
